What is a Team?
Teams consist of just four or more riders who select a Team Captain, register as a Team, set a fundraising goal and join forces to recruit, raise funds, and train for the premiere cycling series in the nation! Team members can be anybody—friends, family, co-workers, or neighbors who seek a personal challenge and a world free of MS.

Whether you are a corporate team or a team of family and friends, Bike MS offers something for everyone! From varied route lengths to accommodate every skill level, stunning scenery and great weekend festivities—Bike MS provides the perfect opportunity to share an unforgettable experience with everyone you know.

The Team Captain's Role
You're up for the challenge and ready for the ride of your life! Now what? As Team Captain, you will lead the way in recruiting, managing and motivating your team. Many team members opt out of email and rely on you information and updates. Once your team is created, recruit friends, families and coworkers to join you! Next, begin your fundraising efforts—send emails, throw a fundraising event. Get creative! The National MS Society Team is here to help every step of the way. Announcing Tour de Teams!

Tour de Teams is a season long, friendly competition between Bike MS teams sharing similar recruitment and fundraising goals. Through five stages of various recruitment and fundraising blitz weeks, teams will have the opportunity to win fabulous prizes and lead their peers wearing the virtual Yellow Jersey. The overall winning team will be recognized with a special award at the Bike MS Rally on Saturday evening, August 4.
